6/18/06 -
We are having a baby!!! On November 18th, 2005 (the day before my birthday), while vacationing with family in Hawaii, Denise took a pregnancy test that
returned a positive result! We were extremely excited and had a very hard time keeping the "early news" a secret from the family during the rest of the
vacation. When we got back from Hawaii, we went to our Doctor who confirmed the pregnancy and let us know that the baby's due date was July 28th, 2006 (the day before Denise's
birthday). We both thought that the birthday thing was a really neat coincidence until Denise realized that if the baby did come out when she was due, Denise
would be spending her birthday in the hospital, possibly in labor. :(
Well, here we are 35 weeks into the pregnancy. We know we are having a little girl. We know we are naming her Ellyse. We know the baby turned 3 1/2 weeks ago (at 31 weeks).
We are pretty sure she is coming early. We "think" she's making up for all of the times her daddy has been "late".
Below are some pictures of our daughter Ellyse's Nursery. She's not here yet, but her nursery is done and both of her parents are ready and very excited for her to get here! :)
More updates to follow. I will also be posting more pictures of her nursery and her once she's here. :)
